Are there silicones in the Hair Protection Oil?
- No, unlike many hair oils on the market we left out silicones. While silicones are excellent hair shaft protectors, we created an oil that was more suitable for everyone's needs by utilising natural plant-based actives.
Is the Hair Recovery Conditioner practical for short hair?
- While it may seem that having short hair means that conditioner is impractical, it is quite the contrary. The Recovery Conditioner protects hair from damages, such as split ends or broken strands. It also moisturizes the hair, adds shine, and restores the natural oils lost during the washing of hair.
Does the Hair Protection Oil protect from heat and UV?
- The Hair Protection Oil contains the ingredient, Campestris/Aleurites Fordi Oil Copolymer, which is demonstrated to protect the hair shaft from temperatures up to 230C. The Hair Protection Oil does not contain conventional UV filters. This is mainly due to the difficulty of finding environmentally-friendly filters.
Are there allergens in the hair oil?
- Our Hair Protection Oil is free of the 26 major allergens. Notably, the hair oil is also fragrance-free so it can be used by those with sensitivities to both natural and synthetic scents.
Why paraben-free shampoo?
- Parabens are a group of preservatives that are widely used to increase the shelf life of cosmetic products. While there are no regulatory restrictions against their usage, research suggests parabens may disrupt hormones in the body.
  
  Scandinavian Biolabs’ formulations are free of suspected endocrine disruptors, carcinogens, and toxic ingredients so that all products may be used without concern.
Why sulfate-free shampoo?
- Sulfates are detergents commonly found in cosmetic and household cleaning products. Sulfates act on the scalp and hair surfaces to remove build-up such as dirt, oil, and other product residues while enabling lather.
  Since sulfates are highly effective cleansers, they can remove natural oils from the hair and skin. With time, this can result in hair that feels dry, rough, or brittle. Sulfate-free shampoo allows one to wash the hair and scalp regularly while maintaining hair texture and shine.

How to Apply

Hair Strength Shampoo
- 1. Rinse hair thoroughly.
  2. Use adequate amount of shampoo; adjust for hair length.
  3. Apply & massage shampoo directly onto scalp and hair.
  Conserve water by turning off faucet during application.
  
  Note: Expect less lathering from this sulfate-free shampoo.
  1. Thoroughly rinse out all the shampoo.
  2. Apply Bio-Pilixin® Recovery Conditioner.

Hair Recovery Conditioner
- 1. Rinse hair thoroughly.
  2. Use adequate amount of conditioner; adjust for hair length.
  3. Apply conditioner to hair strands.
  Conserve water by turning off faucet during application.
  4. Allow to settle for at least 2 minutes before rinsing.
  Conserve water by turning off faucet during settling.
  5. Rinse the conditioner out thoroughly.
  6. Apply the Hair Protection Oil before styling the hair.

Hair Protection Oil
- Apply 1-3 drops to the palms and rub together to warm the oil.
  Gently tun your hands through either towel-dried or dry hair strands.
  Style or brush your hair as desired.
