How to know if you have (irreversible) hair loss?

Scarring is the destruction of the hair follicle, and apart from a few rare exceptions such as cicatricial alopecia, it typically doesn't occur in the early stages of hair loss. On the contrary, having bald spots where hair hasn't grown in a long time may be a sign of scarring and therefore irreversible hair loss. How long does the Hair Styling Gel last and does it hold up in rain and storms?
- The styling effect is related to the hair type and length. Shorter hair is usually lighter and therefore easier to style and hold. In general, the gel provides a soft hold, intended to last throughout the day. The duration of the effect can also be decreased by wind and rain, so you should be prepared to re-gel on such days.
Is the hair Styling Gel dermatologically tested?
- Yes, patch tests were performed under dermatological control on a group of 25 volunteers with normal skin. In the tested group of volunteers there were no irritations or allergic reactions.
Are the products allergen-free?
- Our hair Styling Gel is free of the 26 major allergens. Notably, the product is also fragrance-free so it is intended to be used by those with sensitivities to both natural and synthetic scents.
  
  If you for any reason are unsure, perform a patch test before application. To perform a patch test simply apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm, following 24 hours rinse the area. If any redness, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
Is the gel suitable for curly hair?
- The gel is excellent for those who would like to showcase and style their natural curls.
Does caprylyl glycol as an alcohol have a drying effect on the hair?
- Not all alcohols have a drying effect and are harmful to the skin and hair. Especially fatty alcohols such as caprylyl glycol are not among them.
Can I use the hair gel every day or should I take a few days off after several days of use?
- As a gentle formula, the Hair Styling Gel can be used every day without damaging the hair. For long-lasting stronger hair, we recommend pairing it with other Scandinavian Biolabs products.
